SHEQ

The Stefanutti Stocks group implements and maintains progressive and innovative SHEQ management systems that reflect our commitment to excellence in safety, health, environment and quality across all areas of our operations.

We acknowledge that we operate within a high-risk industry, and that being pro-active, aware, compliant, and committed to continually monitoring and improving safety standards is an essential aspect of our daily working lives.

Our commitment to Zero Harm extends not only to safeguarding our people (employees and the communities that we serve), but also to the environment that we work in. Sustainable business practices are at the core of what we do and drive us to adopt and implement eco-friendly processes that protect our natural resources.

Our focus on maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment forms an integral part of the Stefanutti Stocks value system and by implementing best practices, that exceed industry standards and adhere to legislation, we ensure that every one of Stefanutti Stocks’ projects surpasses HSE expectations.

Occupational Health & Safety

In the spirit of the Founder Mentality principles our group has adopted the slogan “I will not walk past”. This behaviour-based approach encourages empowered employees to take ownership of, and responsibility for, health and safety at the workplace. This approach sees management focus on leadership engagements (LE) and visible felt leadership (VFL), while site operational staff focus on-site safety observations (SSO).

Environmental Management

Stefanutti Stocks is positioning its business at the forefront of the movement towards a more sustainable, more environmentally friendly construction industry. The disciplines within our group benefit from the work of our environmental forum, that has previously defined six key areas most significant to our operations. These include our carbon emissions, energy, materials, waste, water and credible information. These key areas inform the group’s approach to environmental risk and guide the implementation of preventive measures and controls to reduce environmental harm

Quality Management

Our management and construction teams are focused on Excellence in Execution. Our commitment to achieving this is reflected by the fact that these three words make up our slogan and that flawless execution is a key pillar of our Stefanutti Stocks Way. In addition to maintaining our reputation for delivering quality on every contract, it is important for us to “do it right the first time” as repeat work reduces already tight profit margins.

The Stefanutti Stocks group Quality Forum’s philosophy of planning and quantifying risks associated with our operations is embedded in the Excellence in Execution mission statement and forms the key pillars of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. As an ISO certified company, we subscribe to these aspects and will strive to achieve them across all of the group’s operations.
