We undertake civil works including water treatment works, reservoirs, bridges, and dam construction. In addition to agricultural land development, we also undertake bulk earthworks as well as road construction & rehabilitation contracts.

The piling to the Swakopmund River Bridge (that formed part of the upgrade of the railway line running between Walvis Bay and Kranzberg) was undertaken by the Stefanutti Stocks Geotechnical Discipline for China Gezhouba Investment Group (Namibia) in 17 working days during the month of June 2021

Anglo American Platinum’s Mototolo Concentrator project

Multidisciplinary Stefanutti Stocks has executed three large-scale, multi-million mining infrastructure construction projects (phase 1, 2 and 3) for Anglo American Platinum’s Mototolo Concentrator project. These projects were executed on the mining house’s Mareesburg farm site in Steelpoort, Mpumalanga, and included the participation of the Roads & Earthworks, Civils, and the Geotechnical Discipline. Phases 1, 2 and 3 consisted of various stages of earthworks and civil construction of associated infrastructure for the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF). Phase 1 was executed between June 2017 and May 2019. Phase 2 was executed between October 2019 and December 2021, with Phase 3 running almost concurrently between May 2020 and December 2021.

  • Skills Development: Training at accredited in-house training facility ensures continuity of workmanship

    Stefanutti Stocks’ training facility in Chloorkop was officially opened in September 2014 and includes two mobile operator-training simulators and in-house apprentice/artisan training and trade test preparation facility. This in-house training for artisans, was in part motivated by the desire to ensure continuity in terms of level of service and quality of workmanship required by the respective construction Disciplines within the Group, that employs a rich pool of skilled and qualified mechanics instrumental in mentoring and training the next generation of artisans.

    Gauteng-based contractor Pamco Waterproofing and Leaks (PAMCO) is a 100% black-owned business that has operated in the construction sector since 2007. It is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor with a CIDB Grade 6 rating (achieved in 2021), that undertakes general construction, renovation, maintenance, and waterproofing contracts – in particular for social infrastructure projects – for construction companies, housing and property developmers, the private residential sector, as well as educational institutions, municipalities, and provincial governments.

  • SED: Maserunyane High School computer centre and revamp video

    There is a wide digital divide and lack of access to technology in the rural schools of South Africa. The Maserunyane High School in Limpopo was no different. At the beginning of 2020 it was a fading, run down, educational facility and, as described by school Principal Sam Molaotse, it was simply depressing. It may have been clean, the students were neatly turned out, and the teachers committed…but the school was lacking the very basics that support an educational environment, such as toilets, classrooms, walls, ceilings, windows, shade etc.
